2. Data processing & purposes

We process your personal data exclusively within the framework of the applicable data protection provisions – in particular the GDPR. Only the data that is necessary for the processing of our services or that you have voluntarily provided to us is collected.

Processing takes place for the following purposes:

• Handling of bookings and orders
• Fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. registration act, local/visitor´s tax)
• Answering enquiries via the contact form or by e-mail
• Sending the newsletter (only with your consent)

Providing your data is voluntary, unless required by law or contract. Without certain information, bookings or enquiries may not be processed.

3. Disclosure of data

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the contract or if there is a legal obligation. Possible recipients are:

• GASTROdat GmbH (hotel software)
• Tourist board
• Registration office of the municipality
• Legal representatives & debt collection companies (if necessary)
• Statistics Austria
• Tax advisers & auditors
• IT service providers used

4. Storage period

We only store your data for as long as is necessary to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations – but at least for as long as statutory retention periods or limitation periods apply.

5. Website & services used

Server log files

When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically stores technical information in so-called server log files: IP address, browser type and version, URL accessed, referrer URL as well as date and time of access. This data is stored for a maximum of 6 months – unless there is a legal obligation for longer retention or attacks on the website need to be investigated.

Contact form

On our website we offer a contact form that is implemented with the form element of our website builder Oxygen. If you send us a message through it, your voluntarily provided data (name, e-mail address, telephone number, message) are processed to handle your enquiry and sent to us by e-mail. In addition, your enquiry is stored in the database of our website. No additional third-party plugin is used for this. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) or on the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time informally by e-mail. The data is generally stored for 6 months, unless further processing or a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data you provide (name, e-mail address) exclusively on the basis of your consent to send information about our services and offers. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by e-mail to us. After withdrawal, your data will be deleted for the purpose of sending the newsletter, unless it is stored by us for other purposes.

External links to social networks

Our website contains links to our profiles on social networks (e.g. Instagram, Facebook). These links open in a new window directly on the respective platform. Data is only transmitted to the operators of the social networks once you actively click on one of these links. We have no influence on the data processing by the respective platform operators.

6. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Information about your data stored with us
• Rectification of incorrect data
• Erasure of your data (unless a legal retention obligation prevents it)
• Restriction of processing
• Objection to processing
• Data portability
• Withdrawal of consent given (without affecting the lawfulness of the previous processing)

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at
